How do I customize my gear?

All it takes is 3 steps to customize your Everwest gear:
1) Choose your gear.
2) Choose from our assortment of over 190 branding irons (shapes, symbols, letters, numbers, etc.) and drag and drop them onto a 3D model of your gear.
3) We fire up the blow torch and brand your bag, completely customized by you.

How is my gear branded?

Our Everwest team carefully selects the branding irons you chose, heats them with a blow torch, and hand-presses each one into the leather. We use the digital 3D model of your customized gear as a guide to ensure every mark is placed where you designed it.

Is customized gear returnable?

No, unfortunately you cannot return or exchange any customized/branded gear.

Is the leather waterproof?

No, our gear is not waterproof, but we offer leather care and waterproofing products that can be found here. Read all directions on the bottle for application.

What are leather care options for my bag?

What should I brand on my gear?

Anything you want! Get creative, think outside the box. Your favorite lyrics, your nickname, your favorite sports team, college mascot, different assortments of symbols, characters or numbers, etc.. Let your brands play off each other. You could even focus all your brands in a cluster instead of spread out, or just brand 1 side of your bag. The more creative and different your brands are the more it will speak to you!

Does Everwest offer large, customized orders for employee sales incentives, customer/employee appreciation, or President’s Club/VIP gifts?

What type of leather is used?

Everwest uses the highest quality leather: full grain, aniline, genuine, 5-5.5 oz roughman American leather. See more information on the Leather Care page

Why are the brands not uniform?

Since all our gear is branded by hand based off the 3D model you create, we can’t, and won’t guarantee perfection. Branding placement, color, depth, and alignment won’t always be perfect. We’re humans, just like you, and nobody is perfect. By purchasing Everwest gear you’re choosing to express yourself through brands on your gear, it’s a piece of you in those brands, and neither the brands, us, nor you are perfect.

I noticed a defect in my gear, what should I do?

The types of leathers we use bare many imperfections, just like the brands that are heated and pressed into the leather. Imperfection is what makes us, as humans, who we are, and the same goes for the leathers and the brands. Keep in mind there may be small imperfections in the leather but if anything is of concern, send a picture with a few notes and your order number to Contact@everwestgear.com and we will review and get back to you within 14 days.

What is the return policy?

Non-customized/branded bags can be returned for a full refund within 30 days of purchase. Unfortunately, due to the nature of the branding iron customization, all items that have been branded/customized are final sale, non-refundable, and cannot be returned or exchanged.
