Branding Everwest gear is like getting a tattoo, it's a form of self-expression. A conversation starter as to each brand selected and placed. As unique and wonderful as each human is, their bag will be as well. Scratches, brands, and imperfections represent us as humans.
The more use your Everwest gear gets, the more scratches it will accumulate, showing a well used, unique bag. Like a fine wine, it will only get better with age.
In terms of leather care, to maintain the appearance of your leather product we recommend the following:

Treat the item with care, and limit exposure to direct heat and sunlight.

Keep the item dry, and avoid damp or wet surfaces

Do not use leather care products other than Everwest Leather Care products for your Everwest gear.

Scratches on the leather can be removed by rubbing them off or heating gently (although we recommend the more scratches the better).

Use Everwest Leather Gear Balm to Condition and Rejuvenate your leather gear
Proper care and maintenance will help it keep its durability and strength for years to come. Applying the leather gear balm will prevent the bag from drying out and cracking, and will protect it from excessive moisture that can cause the leather to swell.
We recommend applying our Everwest Leather Gear Balm every 6 - 12 months to keep the bag conditioned and hydrated.
